• Easier Everyday UseSign In and Create Account come first; Learn More holds the feature guide. Start with your first score, then add optional profile and equipment details. Stats lead with average, high game and high three-game series; Premium charts and filters open under Explore Detailed Stats. Advanced pages offer a collapsed What Does This Do? explanation and bowling example. Check the save status for syncing, device-only saves or problems; recently deleted games offer Undo Deletion in Scorebook and League Nights, with full recovery history in Settings.
• Free & Lifetime PremiumFree includes score recording, leagues, history, basic averages, high games and series, cloud saving, backups, basic recaps and community. One-time $5 Premium unlocks advanced statistics, equipment, practice, spare and season tools, appearance customization, extra recap designs and ad-free access. Paid areas are restricted to confirmed Premium members, the owner and admins. Free members see Included With Premium with Back and View Benefits buttons; confirmed supporters retain lifetime benefits. Ads on Free depend on Google approval and configured placements. The upgrade page highlights progress stats, equipment/practice tools and ad-free access. Expand its full comparison when needed. Request payment instructions, check Messages, and follow Request Sent / Owner Replied / Premium Active status; the owner verifies payment before activation.
• Messages & My MembershipMessage the owner privately inside Pocket Lanes and see unread replies in your alert bell. My Membership shows Free Member, Lifetime Premium Supporter, or Founder & Owner status. The owner automatically receives all Premium perks plus an exclusive crown badge, purple-and-gold profile styling, and Owner Edition membership card. Premium Supporters see their activation date. See a welcome message and the latest member announcement on Home; dismiss each when finished. Updates remain in What’s New. Create a bowling-themed membership card with your recorded registration date to print, save or share to Community and Facebook. Premium members, admins and the owner can personalize their own card logo: keep the original, choose from 16 bowling presets, or upload a photo. Use Edit Card Logo and Save Logo & Update Card; this is included in the $5 lifetime Premium perks. Open View Membership Card on your profile to expand your card and use its save, share and print controls. In Edit My Profile, turn on Show Membership Card On My Profile to let approved members view it; sharing starts off. The owner can edit the card registration date for any account using Edit Card Date in Members & Roles, or directly on their own card. Use the optional Home checklist to get started. Confirmed supporters can volunteer for tournament testing; preview passwords still apply.
• Record gamesRecord A Score starts with quick game-total entry, date and league. Optional start time, alley, lanes and oil pattern fold under More Details. Choose Frame By Frame for strikes, spares, splits and frame notes; existing games keep their entry method. Your Scorebook starts with the five newest series. Use Show 5 More to expand or Show Less to return to five; search still covers all saved series.
• Track progressView basic averages, high games and series totals on Free. Premium, owner or admin access adds detailed strike and spare statistics, trends and comparisons. Choose Text Stats, Graphs, Line Graph or Pie Charts in Your Bowling Stats. Pie charts show score ranges, frame outcomes, spare conversion and clean games with counts and percentages. The line graph shows game scores and a rolling 10-game average for the selected league, with latest 10, 30, 50 or all games and tap/slider score details. Latest night shows each bowler’s series total beside their game scores. Season Goals mark averages with ↑ (Above) above goal, ↓ (Below) below goal and — (Even) at goal or before any completed games.
• Organize leaguesKeep leagues, seasons, and bowling sessions organized, with customizable league order.
• Manage your arsenalPremium, owner or admin access: Save ball photos, surfaces, maintenance, and equipment details—or add balls from the shared ball library.
• Get Spare-Shooting HelpPremium, owner or admin access: Use More → Equipment → Spare Guide to tap standing pins and see contact plans for common single pins, sleepers, buckets, rails, washouts and splits. Add practiced 7-pin and 10-pin lines for starting-board adjustments where supported, then save a tested personal setup. Other combinations receive general guidance; exact lines depend on your delivery and lane conditions.
• Save lane informationRecord alleys, lane numbers, oil patterns, and adjustments that worked.
• Earn achievementsCollect personalized trophies and animated badges for scoring milestones, clean series, and special accomplishments. Share earned trophies from Trophy Case or Community after the owner approves them.
• Share resultsCreate recap images and download them to share with friends or on social media. Use either on/off switch—in recap options or below Total / Average / High—to include or hide trophies earned that night on the recap sheet, images and printable layouts.
• Import and protect recordsImport supported bowling data, review scores from screenshots, and back up or restore your information.
• Search your appFind app pages, your saved records, arsenal balls, ball and pattern libraries, and approved shared posts. Unlock tournaments to include them. See the five best matches, then Show 5 more as often as needed.
• Customize Your Appearance · PremiumPremium, owner or admin access: Mix 12 color presets or a custom accent with six backgrounds: the current look plus five distinct bowling photo scenes, from neon lanes to retro equipment and championship lights. Upload a personal background photo that only your signed-in account can access. Preview background brightness, card transparency and background blur with individual resets and precise minus/plus buttons. Zoom and position photo backgrounds, and preview sample scores, a goal indicator and a button. Compare Before/After, undo adjustments, open a full-screen preview, browse favorite theme thumbnails and see when changes are unsaved. Reorder, rename or duplicate favorites, switch saved themes quickly using ★ Themes, and see helpful readability tips. Pin up to three favorites in the quick switcher, save separate portrait and landscape photo framing, share theme codes without private photos, schedule day and night favorites using your device’s local time, and reset individual appearance sections. Save up to eight favorite themes, then save your appearance and favorites to your own account across devices, or restore the default look. Choose your font, text size, bold text and spacing with a live preview. Show or hide section button icons, keep the default emojis or choose your own for each section. Use Collapse All or Expand All in Customize Appearance, or fold individual groups. Each group stays open or closed exactly as you leave it when you reopen the app on this device; layout saves automatically without Save Appearance.
• Customize your homepageHome puts Record A Score, Continue Game when needed, and Latest Night first. Premium members, admins and the owner can choose Simple View for everyday pages and favorite tools, or Full View for the regular menu. The choice stays saved for that account on this device. All Premium tools remain available through Browse All Tools or search. Keep four favorite shortcuts nearby and expand to see the rest. A small Support Pocket Lanes link below favorites opens optional donation information. Averages, Search Your App and More On Home fold away and remember their state on this device. More organizes the remaining pages into collapsible categories with your favorites at the top. Choose which recent league and bowler averages appear, see each matching goal with an above/below/at-goal indicator, favorite the app sections you use most, and collapse or expand upcoming tournaments. Jump straight to your tournament favorites from Home.
• Share with the communitySubmit a game, series, earned trophies, photo, video or post you’re proud of. Use Pick From My Scorebook inside Create Post to attach a saved series or game, or share directly from a collapsed Scorebook series card. Choose whether to include your notes; posts appear for members after the owner approves them. React with applause, bowling, fire or a trophy; add comments for owner approval. Filter or search posts, browse five at a time, and edit your submissions for reapproval. Optionally share an alley, ball used or Personal Best label. The owner can pin posts and moderate comments. Create an editable member profile with 16 bowling icons or your own uploaded picture, a nickname, bowling details including how many bowling balls you own, and up to six photos. Tap an author to view their profile and approved game, series and trophy showcase.
• Share Recaps To FacebookUse Share Game To Facebook beside Share Game To Community on a completed Scorebook game to start with that game selected. From Create A Community Post, use Share To Facebook to preview your selected result, trophies and attached photo with a copyable caption. From League Nights, choose Share Recap To Facebook, review your images, copy an editable caption and choose Facebook in your device’s sharing menu. Save the images and attach them in Facebook if direct sharing is unavailable. Recaps retain your selected privacy, design and trophy options; you confirm the post in Facebook.
• Memories of DadShare memories in a separate tribute area. New memories appear for everyone after the owner approves them.
• Support Pocket LanesChoose a one-time $5 Lifetime Premium upgrade for advanced tools and ad-free access. Request payment instructions through private Messages; the owner activates Premium after confirming payment. Optional donations remain separate. Existing supporters keep their benefits.
• Stay informedSend feedback with a reply email. The owner’s Alerts & Approvals center brings pending requests together. The owner can set Pocket Lanes passwords for every account level, including their own, when signed in with their owner email/password.
• Tournaments — coming soonUnder construction for a future update; a password is required to preview. Search upcoming tournaments by a keyword, name, venue or date. Browse weekly refreshed listings, open and share graphic flyers, and save tournaments to a separate Favorite tournaments area while keeping them in the main list. Collapse individual flyers, your favorites area or the main tournament list to keep the page compact. Expired tournaments leave the upcoming lists. Submit a tournament for the owner’s approval.
• See Site TotalsSee lifetime user and visit totals on Home and the welcome screen. Owners and admins can tap Total Users to open their member list; other visitors see a display-only count. Owners and admins can open Site Visits from Home or its collapsible Settings section for a newest-first numbered visit list, with verified email and connection details when available. Site Visits and the separate owner-only User Visit Log show five visits at a time, with Show 5 More, collapse controls and search across all saved visits by email, date, IP or location. Detailed visits start with Version 146. Deleting an account does not lower either total. A browser counts once within 30 minutes; page changes and quick reloads do not add visits.
• Get Help For Each ScreenOpen the guide for your current page, search the full manual, or download a copy to read offline. Help is reviewed when app features change.
• Save Your LoginOptionally use Sign In & Save Login with your device’s password manager. AutoFill can fill your email and password next time; your device controls saving, with iPhone instructions on the sign-in page.
• Share Your Bowling LocationSave a Yes/No GPS sharing choice in Settings, then optionally share a one-time device location with the owner and approved admins. Changing to No removes the saved coordinates. No background tracking.
• Registration QuestionsTell the owner how you found Pocket Lanes, your usual bowling center and what you hope to track (optional), then review the GPS sharing choice (Yes is preselected; select No to opt out). Your choice stays saved until you change it in Settings; browser permission is still required. Answers appear in his member approval details.
• Manage member accessKeep personal bowling records separate, with owner controls for managing access. Members & Roles includes a Premium Supporters count and filter, plus Set Premium Supporter after confirming a $5 upgrade payment; supporter benefits keep the account’s access permissions unchanged. The owner can use Edit Name for any account, including their own, to set the display name shown beside its email in member lists. Use Reorder Sections at the top of Settings to move any available section up, down, to the top or to the bottom, or reset the default order. Use Collapse All or Expand All, or fold each box independently. Your section order and collapse choices are remembered when you reopen the app on this device.

Pocket Lanes is in early testing, with core bowling tracking features built and ongoing refinements. Guests can try fictional sample records that reset on reload; saving real records requires approved member access.
